Río Celeste Hike *PREMIUM TOUR*

Discover with us one of the greatest treasures of Costa Rica, located just 2 hours from La Fortuna, the majestic Río Celeste, a place where you can enjoy walking through the tropical jungle and its attractions in the Volcan Tenorio National Park.

To observe the impressive Río Celeste waterfall, we will take a tour of approximately 1 hour on a trail surrounded by fascinating nature and also animals, where we will be able to capture wonderful memories and beautiful photographs.

Next, if you want to observe the area where two streams with different compositions and minerals mix, creating this wonderful effect of turquoise water, we will advance between rocks and mud for 1.5 hours to the next point “Los Teñideros”, exploring different stops. on the tour to appreciate the changes in the river. We will also be able to appreciate the relationship between the river and the Tenorio Volcano, when crossing a volcanic vein, giving us a spectacle. Throughout the tour, our naturalist guide will tell you interesting facts about the area, some plants and also some species found on the trails.

The fun does not end there, since, after the adventure, we will enjoy a delicious typical dish of the area, and we will embark on a trail that will test our senses in search of one of the most popular mammals in Costa Rica, the sloths, who have a unique ability to camouflage themselves in the forest. We will visit them in their natural habitat, where we can observe them eating, moving or simply taking a relaxing nap, while we appreciate the rest of the fauna that surrounds the place.

To conclude this great adventure, we will visit a farm that processes coffee and chocolate, a fruit that represents our cultures and traditions. The highly trained guide will be in charge of showing in detail the process from seeing the coffee plantations to the final product that we already know. A dynamic experience where group members can participate in the different processes and taste the result.
